About Ms. Keepers
Ms. Keepers is a school counselor in graduate school who operates from a strengths based perspective and works through a Solution Focused Based & Narrative School Counseling lens. She believes that all young people facing obstacles in life deserve access to better resources towards unlocking their creative potential.
Background Information
Ms. Keepers is from Tucson, Arizona and currently attends graduate school for school counseling in Portland, Oregon. She obtained her Bachelor's Degree from Portland State University and is now a school counseling graduate student at Lewis and Clark College. She has always been passionate about helping youth who face challenges in their life. Ms. Keepers is a social justice youth advocate as well as a champion of music education.
Being that she faced her own challenges as a child, Ms. Keepers honors and recognizes that diverse experiences make us who we are. Outside of her career, Ms. Keepers enjoys singing and songwriting, exercising and playing soccer, and cuddling with her cat, Leia. Her hope is to integrate her creative experiences and musical artistry into her school counseling career.
